Vinted Users Express Frustration Over Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The second-hand shopping app has updated its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display an altered size classification versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to review their products and adjust the sizing manually where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Updates
Previously, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Required Changes
A different user, located in England, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and platform income has been essential for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Platform Context
The service features exceeding 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification on the platform has faced criticism: previously, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices due to shopper criticism.
