In the 94th minute, unbridled joy broke out for Chelsea and caretaker boss Calum McFarlane as Enzo Fernández stabbed home a last-gasp equaliser. The goal left Pep Guardiola in a state of despair and handed the stand-in Chelsea manager a unforgettable moment. On paper, Guardiola versus McFarlane represented the Premier League's most pronounced managerial mismatch in class, making the memory of Fernández's crucial intervention one to cherish the 40-year-old throughout his career.

A Stark Contrast in Pedigree

On the City bench was the era's defining coach, a man with 40 trophies for elite clubs Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City, taking charge of his 1,012th match.
