It needed up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their batsmen to possess a record if not afforded the opportunity.

Ultimately, the result of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy getting a chance to produce her newest gem.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the confidence to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, should it happen, we are confident we can succeed."

These statements will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

In recent days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this triumph coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.
